Write (DISKW) operations

Irrespective of whether the operating system is z/OS or z/VM write operations are performed by the EXECIO DISKW command.

The basic syntax is shown opposite.

Examples of this version of the EXECIO command will be presented over the next couple of pages, illustrating various aspects of the command's use.

A closing parenthesis ) is optional and hence often omitted.
